Should hormone testing be done around the cycle for best results? Also, which testing is preferable; saliva, urine, or blood?

If someone has a cycle of course its best. Usually testing the third day of the cycle or doing 11 samples to test the complete cycle if you need more exactness. I find blood to be the easiest although it is only a spot in time. Saliva is similar just a spot in time however it’s supposed to if collected properly, give you results that are of the free component only. For sure, the urine is a dynamic estimation of a 24 hour period of someone’s urine hormone levels, and it also looks at the downstream metabolites.

I have studied a lot on hormone therapy and quite honestly I am confused as to which test is best. Is it saliva? Is it uring? Please shed light on this for me…thank you!
