What is the best kind of curcumin, are there any serious interactions with other medications, and can it be given IV?

Unfortunately, Curcumin is often not absorbed well or maintains its levels in the blood stream. I have found the best two forms to be the BCM 95 or even better the Longivida brand which we have in our store house for you. This passes the blood brain barrier easily and maintains good blood levels. This form was developed by UCLA researchers. As far as anti-inflammation,curcumin seems to have the best affect even when compared to many of the drugs that are by Pharmacy script. However, larger than usual doses should be considered and in some cases such as a cancer patient, 5 to 8000 mg a day, in divided doses, maybe needed and useful.
I would suggest you not use the IV Curcumin at this time. It has been recalled due to two deaths secondary to allergic reaction from the carrier which are propylene glycol and castor oil.
